Oh the ups and downs....
Today it's a smashed shop window. Not very nice to find of a morning. Looks like somebody was on a bit of a smashing spree around these parts last night - so hey, won't take it personally. The good news is the somebody in question was caught nearby. The bad - he'll not be the one finding the £94 to put it right - that'll be muggins here!
UPDATE: Glad to say how wrong I was. Have received a cheque for £90 through the Scottish Court Service compensation scheme where offenders are given the chance to pay for the damage they've caused rather than go to court. Very impressed.
