Loving the new colours of the latest Creamola Foam design from Gillian Kyle (very boo vake). And, as I was saying to a very lovely customer just minutes ago, the colour orange - not only is it warm & mood-lifting, but goes with just every other colour imaginable (in my mind anyhow). We have these new tea-towels & aprons from Gillian's new organic cotton range in the shop now. The tea-towel also works well stretched over a canvas (like wot we have in our shop window at the moment).

it's back

The Teacake apron was a very sought after item before Christmas indeed - and is now back in stock (brightening up the back corner of the shop once more!).

We've been going a bit mug daft here at boo vake recently with the arrival of a whole load of new bone china mugs by some of our favourite designers. Amongst which are these pleasingly substantial ones from Gillian Kyle and Mr Ps - a proper mug of tea size.

Gillian Kyle's ever popular 'Scottish icons' bags, aprons & teatowels have become a permanent feature here at boo vake over the last year, and from all accounts have found their way to all corners of the globe so far. Nice and light for posting they make the perfect presents for sending to all those relatives living abroad (or even London...).

In Gillian's words her work has '...a distinctly Scottish theme and a large dash of humour.' Featuring such Scottish treasures as teacakes, plain bread, scotch pies, and some well known varieties of porridge oats, soft drinks & lager! Oh...and for the dog lovers there's a westie too!
